The Coven Intelligence Program (formerly APRIORI) is a techno-botanical coven that makes connections between the persecution of witches and other radical groups from early modernity to the present, the surveillance technologies continually employed against them, the destruction of multi-species commons, and the rise of cybernetic capitalism. To counter this ongoing destruction, the Coven Intelligence Program cultivates revolutionary ecologies between witches, plants, and machines. We create living installations, speculative objects, custom software, digitally woven textiles, and participatory events. This is a collaboration between Margaretha Haughwout and efrén cruz cortés, with contributions from a range of other artists.
