I am spending most of the summer in the forests and by the waters north of Sebastopol, Ca. in much needed retreat. I am working on better tree identification, harvesting and processing a variety of plants for medicine, and writing (which of course means reading a lot). Writing about post civilization, grafting trees as performance and sculpture, the history of cybernetics, and versions of the wild.
